Pera originated Shear Jitsu to help with serious back injuries he was suffering as a shearer. Convinced he could help shearers who suffer back injuries and pain, Pera approached Australian Wool Innovations the biggest wool harvesting industry in the world with a plan to improve the health, wellness, and longevity of their workers. This led to the development of the SFC Roller recovery tool.
